Are you passionate about property and love getting the details right? We're looking for a motivated LIM Officer to join our team and help deliver trusted, high-quality services to our community.

About the role:

In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate Land Information Memorandums (LIMs) across a variety of property types, ensuring they are delivered to customers within statutory timeframes. You'll liaise with internal teams to gather and verify the information required for LIMs and support the maintenance of the Council's internal Proper Properties register, including managing the movement of data to new property records.

You'll also play a vital part in administering Council property information databases — helping create and update property records, reserves, and address management data. As one of the go-to person for property records and quality assurance, you will provide expert advice and support to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our property files and information systems.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, along with excellent organisational and communication skills.

You will take a proactive approach to problem-solving and be committed to finding opportunities for process improvement.

Ideally, you will have experience working with property data, land information systems, or preparing LIMs, and a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and local government processes would be an advantage.

Strong digital literacy skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, are essential.

What to expect after you apply

Once the vacancy closes you'll be contacted within 7 days as to whether or not your application has been successful.  If you've been shortlisted for an interview, you'll be contacted by one of the People & Wellbeing team to arrange a time to come in and meet with some of the team. 

We typically only do one interview, however depending on the seniority of the role or the role itself, we sometimes require two interviews.  For mid-senior level and team leader/manager roles, you may also be required to undertake psychometric testing.

In your interview, there will be a member of the People & Wellbeing team, the Hiring Manager and either their Manager or one of the senior member's of their team.  Our interview questions are predominantly behavioural and skills-based.

Summer Student Internships

Every year we employ a number of Summer Students across the Council to work for a period of 12-16 weeks over the summer months (mid-November to February). This is a great opportunity to gain work experience in your field of study, advertising begins early July, All applications are to be submitted via our website in July.
