A typical day:
No two days are the same! As a Customer Services Officer your role is to be on the counter greeting our customers, helping customers with difficult queries, working on the phones, responding to emails or cash receipting.
There is a lot to learn, and we provide comprehensible on-the-job training.
Things you will be proud of:
A high standard of presentation is expected as you will be proud to be the face and voice of Council, providing a high quality, professional response and adding value when answering customers enquiries.
The boxes you will need to tick:
You will be energetic, enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Experience in a customer service environment would be a distinct advantage.
Good problem-solving skills will be put to good use in this position, as will your sharp and well-honed computer skills, and your ability to remain calm under pressure.
Previous AA or NZTA experience will be a distinct advantage.
