About the role:
Tasman District Council are looking for a Senior Consent Planner to join their team specialising in Natural Resources. A large part of this role is the opportunity to mentor our carefully selected Graduates to become competent, pragmatic and informed Planners of the future.
To excel in this role, you will have a highly established resource consent processing background, including robust working knowledge of the Resource Management Act and both regional and district planning rules.
About you:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills will make working within our diverse team and environment a breeze and will be pivotal to your success as you engage with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels and walks of life. You will also possess the analytical and decision-making skills necessary to secure best practice planning outcomes and deliver effective problem solving for local community issues while understanding the bigger picture for Tasman.
