Property Officer - Maintenance and Facilities

This permanent full time role based in our Richmond office is a great opportunity for an experienced team player who is looking to extend their expertise.
Do you have a few years of property or facilities maintenance experience under your belt and are now looking for your next career opportunity?
As part of Council's Property Services team, this role focuses on the Council's property and contract management, and you will oversee the Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) requirements for all Council owned building.
You will proactively manage the day to day requirements of Council-occupied buildings, and arrange inspections and maintenance for other Council facilities, including Libraries, Museums, Recreational & Community Centres and Aquatic & Fitness Centre Facilities.
You'll also be responsible for our fleet management strategy to optimise utilisation and decarbonisation.
Professional in your approach, a natural communicator and thrives on creating collaborative relationships in your daily interactions with service providers and other property stakeholders.
Your ability to interpret information and provide sound advice will be valued.
