Library Assistant - Motueka Library
Opening day is nearing for the new Motueka Library, and we are looking for another awesome library assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people as much as you enjoy reading and talking about books, then this is the perfect role for you!
This is a full-time (40 hour) position responsible for assisting with exhibitions, displays, promotions and events, and staffing the library service desk and assisting library users. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers so having a can-do attitude and providing excellent customer service is a must.
We are seeking a warm and friendly person who has a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service, and who has good general knowledge and an interest in books. You will also have strong attention to detail and be confident in using computers, the internet and mobile devices.
We are ideally looking for someone to start in December this year so you are able to get up to speed while we are in the current library, and then you will support the team with the transition to the new library in January/February 2022.
