Executive Support Officer - CEO Office

Richmond, New Zealand

Good things have been happening - we've recently promoted our Executive Support Officer and now have a role for someone to assist our Executive Assistant to provide executive support to our CEO and their busy office, including supporting our elected members.

We are looking for a professional, savvy administrator or PA with "can do" attitude, willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are followed through to successful completion while also providing specialist secretarial support to the CEO Office. The successful applicant will be customer focused, organised and capable of producing work of a consistently high standard, be a confident communicator and possess the ability to work constructively with people at all levels. It goes without saying that a confidential and professional manner will be maintained at all times.

You'll bring solid PA and administration experience to the role and a relevant qualification will definitely give you an advantage. You'll also be relied upon for your high level of computer literacy and previous experience with agendas, report preparation and minute taking. This role will ideally suit someone with natural initiative towards resolving problems and using creativity to come up with smart solutions.

While experience in local government would be an advantage, ultimately it will be your ability to build excellent relationships across the organisation and your assistance in keeping the CEO Office organised that will ensure your success.
