Based at the Takaka Memorial Library, this customer-facing role involves staffing the library service desk and assisting library users. In this role you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, so having a can-do attitude and providing excellent customer service is a must!

You will also:

  • Be confident in using computers, the internet and mobile devices;
  • Have strong attention to detail;
  • Have good general knowledge and interest in books

This position has core hours of 10 hours per week (Week 1: Tue 10-5, Fri 9-1, and Week 2: Tue 10-5, Sat 9-1), and we require the successful applicant to be available during the school holidays and to work additional casual hours as needed.

Summer Student Internships
