Programme Leader - Information Management

Richmond

Reference: 5157869

Here at Tasman District Council, we are all about the people.

What we do touches the lives of everyone in our region, enabling communities to reach their potential. We are a great organisation to work for, passionate about what we do, and full of people who want to make a positive difference.

We offer a variety of challenging and interesting work, and ample learning and professional development opportunities throughout the year. We also offer flexible and remote working options, a day off for your birthday, enhanced sick leave entitlement, relocation assistance and a benefits package suited to your preferences.

In this role, you'll lead the delivery of high quality Information Management services to Council, and advise on the management of Council's records, archives and other information. You will be responsible for Council's Information Management strategy, policy and procedures to ensure they align with Council's strategic objectives as well as relevant legislation and standards. You will also lead the charge in championing Council's new EDRMS (iWorkplace in SharePoint Online) and the importance of information management, and support the development of Council's Digital Strategy and delivery.

A key part of this role is working with all areas of the organisation, so building and maintaining great working relationships, strong communication skills and the ability to think strategically in a ‘whole organisation' context, is a must. You'll also be responsible for managing one employee, so staff supervisory experience is required.

Building great communities through employing great people. Will you be one of them?
