Executive Support Officer - Corporate and Governance Services

Reporting to the Executive Assistant, you'll be key to providing administrative support to the department's Executive Manager, the wider team, advisory groups and other Council working committees.

The Corporate and Governance Services department is responsible for a wide range of workstreams including Finance, Rating, Property, Payroll, Legal and Commercial and we're looking for an agile person who is organised and efficient to keep their finger on the pulse of the department's administration needs at all times.

You will be customer-focused, and take pride in producing work of a consistently high standard, be a confident communicator and possess the ability to work constructively with people at all levels. You'll bring solid PA and administration experience while a relevant qualification will also be an advantage, as will your previous experience working with agendas, report preparation and minute taking.

You'll also be relied upon for your high level of computer literacy, strong proof reading ability and accuracy in touch typing. This role will ideally suit someone with natural initiative towards resolving problems and using creativity to come up with smart solutions.

This is a part-time 30 hour per week role and we are happy to negotiate flexibility around the days of work so that you can strike the perfect balance between work and your personal life.
