We are currently looking for a new addition to complement our dedicated Revenue Team.

Based in our Richmond Office and reporting to the Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for administering a range of accounts receivable related tasks including invoice processing, and debtors ledger maintenance as well as providing assistance for rating functions including setting up and maintaining direct debits, and updating databases. Professional in your approach, you will have excellent communication skills and provide a quality service when responding to customer enquiries.

A relevant background in accounts administration is a must and experience in an accounts receivable role within a large organisation will be a real advantage. Your initiative, excellent attention to detail, high level of digital literacy and ability to focus on thoroughness and accuracy are attributes that will ensure success in this role. Your ability to collaborate effectively with others is really important as we operate in a team environment.

NMIT Student Employment Scholarships

Tasman District Council supports the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) Employment Scholarship Scheme to provide young people with a pathway from school to the workplace. The NMIT Employment Scholarship scheme is for business administration students. It works in a similar way to an apprenticeship with students working full or part-time in a business administration role while studying in a supported class for three hours a week at NMIT to gain business administration skills and a qualification at the end of it.
